Colors in the Park

Hi ! My name is Meg. I have a pet cat. His name is Thomas. He is black and orange, and he loves to play all day. He likes to nap too. Next
Thomas plays with yarn. He likes to roll it, and bat it with his paw. He runs and jumps up on my lap, and then jumps down again. Then it is time for a nap.

"Let’s go out and play," I tell Thomas. We sit in the grass and look at the birds. I see Bill and his dog, Star. He walks up to me and sits down. Next
He has a red ball that we play with. He rolls it to me, and then I roll it back to him. This is fun!
Star wants to go for a walk. I ask Mom if we can and she says "Yes." Star, Thomas, Bill and I walk to the park. Next
There are big boys playing ball, so we go down to the pond.
I see 3 yellow ducks and a green frog. Star sees the frog too, and she barks at it. The frog looks at her, and says "Ribbit!" "Woof!" says Star. "Ribbit, ribbit!" says the frog. Then the frog jumps in the water and swims away. Star looks for the frog, but he is gone.
Thomas has found a red bird in a tree. He sits and looks at it. I think he wants to eat it! Next
Bill sees a worm in the mud. Bill likes worms, so he digs to find more. I do not like worms !
The baby ducks in the water say "Quack, quack, quack." The mom duck is white with a yellow bill and yellow feet. She can swim fast. Next
It is time to go home now. Bill and I start to walk home, but Star is still looking for the frog, and Thomas is still looking at the bird in the tree. "Come on, let’s go!" Bill yells.Next
"There are lots of colors in the park, Bill. A red bird, yellow baby ducks, a white mom duck, a green frog, and blue water." Next
"And lots of brown worms!" Bill says.
