Questions about God? Christianity? Salvation? |
| Do
you know Him? Are you washed in His Blood? Without a
doubt do you know you are going to heaven? If "No" was an answer
to any of these questions, you need salvation. WHY? The following
is a compilation of several verses to answer that
question. For all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous and the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit. Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that time of refreshing may come from the Lord...For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-...That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. Are you ready for Salvation? If so, call on Him in prayer, and pray what is on your heart. Or you may pray the following sinner's prayer but you must truly mean it as your own. Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I know You died on the cross for me. I now turn from my sins and ask You to forgive me. I now invite You into my heart and life. I now trust You as Savior and follow You as Lord. Thank You for saving me. Amen. What does Jesus want you to do now? 1. He wants you to be sure of your salvation. You can be certain you have eternal life: A. Because you are born again. (2Corinthians 5:17) B. Because you did what the Bible told you to do. (Romans 10:13) C. Because of God's record. (John 5:11-13) D. Because of God's promise. (John 5:24) 2. Jesus wants to you publicly confess Him and follow Him in baptism and church membership. (Acts 2:41-47) 3. Jesus wants yo to grow into a strong, faithful disciple. (1Peter 2:2) There are 4 things necessary for growth: A. Food. Spiritual food is God's Word (the Bible.) B. Breathing. Spiritual breathing is prayer. Talk to God everyday about your life, your problems, your needs, your job, your relationships, your health. C. Exercise. Spiritual excercise means helping others, giving time and energy to God's work, and being a living testimony. D. Rest. Spiritual rest lies in the form of worship. Rest means being still and waiting on God. 4. Jesus wants you to live victorious everyday. (John 5:4 and John 4:4.) Welcome to God's Family ! |
